Grieving Your Spouse – November Programs

October 30, 2017

According to grief expert Dr. Alan D. Wolfelt, there are certain needs we have when we are grieving. There is a need for the bereaved to express their grief in some way whether verbally or in another way. We need to respect what our bodies and minds are telling us and learn to nurture ourselves, whether we are experiencing a multitude of emotions or numbness.

Grieving Your Spouse is a professionally led ongoing support group for people whose spouse or significant other has died in the last three years. The group is set up to help the grieving partner reconcile the loss. In the group, we not only learn from others who are also grieving but also have an opportunity to process our own grief. This is also a great opportunity to network with others who understand what you are going through.
